Waterloo Recreation Area Trail Ride/Camping

Trail riding for all ages.

Advanced reservations are required

Different levels of rides will be scheduled depending on your skill level as well as your endurance.

The terrain at this location can be:

• All flat and single file trail through dense forest

• Steep rocky slopes including switch backs.

 

Typical Itinerary

For the weekend (camping is optional):

• Leave Friday at about 12 noon

• Set up camp which includes setting the Picket line and arranging the camp site.

• Friday night: - Depending on how soon that set up is done. Short twilight trail ride 1 to 2 hours.

• Saturday morning: Approx first guests arrive at 10:00 am Camp breakfast is about done with a start to the first trail ride approximately 11:00 am. 2 to 3 hours duration

• Saturday Afternoon: Guests arrive at approx 3 pm with a start to the afternoon ride at about 4:30 after Lunch.

• Sunday morning: Approx first guests arrive at 10:00 am Camp breakfast is about done with a start to the first trail ride approximately 11:00 am. 2 to 3 hours duration

• Sunday Afternoon: Guests arrive at approx 3 pm with a start to the afternoon ride at about 4:30 after Lunch.

• Monday morning: Approx first guests arrive at 10:00 am Camp breakfast is about done with a start to the first trail ride approximately 11:00 am. 2 to 3 hours duration

• Monday Afternoon: Guests arrive at approx 2 pm with a start to the afternoon ride at about 3:30 after Lunch.

• Cost for Each ride are $60.00 per ride payable in advance.

• Reservations are required

• Camp sites are available for those that want to spend the night. Advance reservations are required.
